Vintage 1994 MacKenzie-Childs Hand-Painted Fish Dish

The Painted Fish Catchall

Italian Ceramic | The Seaside — Curated by Tohni Jean Bellis

A spirited Italian ceramic piece selected for its color, craftsmanship and collected character.

The Painted Fish Catchall features a whimsical fish silhouette hand-finished in a lively palette of coral, turquoise, soft yellow and green. The expressive pattern and artisan character give it the feeling of a piece discovered while traveling along the Mediterranean coast.

Turned over, the piece reveals its original impressed maker’s mark: Victoria and Richard — Ceramiche Artistiche — Toscana, Italia, celebrating its Italian ceramic origins.

Beautiful on a coffee table, console or bedside table, it can be displayed as an art object or used to hold jewelry and other small treasures.
